Not trying to impress anybody~

4 Sep

You know those times when you go balls out? You take a chance- you lose yourself. The tests come, you are faced with challenges that seem to mount up like a great big wall. Critical thinking goes out the window- instead you’re clouded by all the thoughts and opinions of others. But where are your thoughts? What happened to your own unique creativity?

All of a sudden you’re just a face among the masses. A bunch of people who all act and think the same. Goes against everything that (I) believe. We can be one without being carbon copies.

“Competitive” inspirations do not mix. I get to the point where I can’t fully articulate myself to others. My voice gets shaded. Totally lost within that mix. It makes me want to scream! And once I get to that point- I remember… My own dreams…

It just kind of sucks that hardship happens to inspire me so much. lol… What the heck. Romance and love and nature inspire me as well. Of course I would much rather have a life where the only inspirations that I needed to articulate truth to people were romance and love…

But we need to hear the stories of hardship. That’s when we need the most help!
